Wild Duck Creek Estate Wine Tasting – 31st July

Barrel Bar is lucky to have David (aka Duck) Anderson the winemaker from Wild Duck Creek Estate, Heathcote, Victoria here for our next wine tasting. Join Duck on July 31 from 6:30pm. 

Duck and Diana planted the first vines in 1974 and in 1979 named the first vineyard Alan’s Cabernet Vineyard, after Duck’s late father Alan. The Original Vineyard was planted in 1988 on land owned by Diana’s parents. Traditional winemaking methods including hand-picking, open fermentation, hand-plunging, basket-pressing, and long-term barrel-ageing are fostered, as is the use biodynamic principles on their own vineyards. Duck remains adamant however, that it’s still the vineyard and site selection especially, that dictate great wines.

We will be taking full payment ($20pp) upon booking, to ensure a smooth start to the evening. This will be fully refunded if you decide to cancel.

As per usual, all wines will be available to be purchased at the end of the tasting and delivered to your door free of charge (sydney metro only).
